Pella Regional Medical Clinic – Ottumwa Achieves All Mammography Quality Standards Act Inspection Criteria

Ottumwa recently received a Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) Inspection by the Iowa Department of Public Health and all areas reviewed were found to be in compliance with the standards. This certification is recognition of the program’s commitment to continuous improvement and is a true testament to the high quality of care that is provided.

The Breast Care Program team members, including radiologist Dr. Alison Smith, Susan Veenstra, Quality Assurance Coordinator and Jessica Dueker, Medical Imaging Tech, are instrumental to offering this high quality service to patients close to home in Ottumwa.
