Miller-Meeks comments on Biden's actions against cartels and gender policy changes

Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D., currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 1st district, has been vocal on several issues through her recent tweets. Her posts cover topics ranging from national security to local development and sports policies.

On February 19, 2025, Rep. Miller-Meeks addressed the issue of cartel violence at the U.S. border. She stated, "The cartels have unleashed death and destruction at our border and in our communities." She criticized President Joe Biden for his previous inaction but acknowledged a recent move by him to designate these cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations.

In another tweet dated February 20, 2025, Rep. Miller-Meeks shared her experience at a meeting with officials from the Marion County Development Office in Knoxville. She wrote, "Had a great meeting at the Marion Co. Development Office in Knoxville with the Director and Asst. Director." The discussion centered around local business climate, tourism opportunities, and transportation challenges related to manufacturing.

On February 21, 2025, she commented on an executive order regarding gender participation in sports issued by President Biden. In her tweet, she expressed support for this policy change: "Thanks to @POTUS's Executive Order, Biological males are no longer allowed to compete in women's sports."
