CITY OF NORWALK: Norwalk will host a Drug Take-Back Day

City of Norwalk issued the following announcement on Oct. 8. 

The Norwalk Police Department wants to make homes safe by destroying all expired or unused prescription drugs, and over-the counter medications. In correlation with the Drug Enforcement Administration, Norwalk will host a Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 24th at the Norwalk Police Department, located at 1100 Chatham Avenue from 10am - 2pm.

The event allows residents to remove potentially dangerous substances from their medicine cabinets through safe collection sites. Any dosage form of pharmaceutical products such as; tablets, capsules, and patches will be accepted. Liquids, needles, sharps, inhalers, syringes, IV solutions and other biohazard materials will not be accepted. The service is free and anonymous, with no questions asked!
