Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at Pella Regional was recognized for clinical excellence in patient satisfaction and wound healing rates and received the Center of Distinction and the Clinical Excellence awards from Healogics®. The Pella Regional Wound Center achieved outstanding clinical outcomes for twelve consecutive months, including patient satisfaction rates higher than 92 percent, Wound Adjusted Comprehensive Healing Rate greater than or equal to 75%, and an Outliner Rate less than or equal to 16%.
“I am proud our team was able to achieve the Center of Distinction Award again this year and also receive the Clinical Excellence Award for the first time,” said Lesa Maring, Director of Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine. “There are 15 Healogics wound centers in Iowa and we were 1 of 4 who were awarded the Clinical Excellence Award. We have a great team that always thinks of what is best for the patient.”
