On Sunday, March 2, former Winterset Senior High School standout Tara Vandewater’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, March 2, former Winterset Senior High School standout Tara Vandewater’s current college team, the Oklahoma State Cowgirls, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Drake Bulldogs.

The game took place at Cowgirl Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Cowgirls’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 2:50 p.m. at Cowgirl Stadium against Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
