Former Winterset Senior High School standout Tara Vandewater played on Saturday, May 17 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division I Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 17, former Winterset Senior High School standout Tara Vandewater’s current collegiate team the Oklahoma State Cowgirls lost 16-8 against the Indiana Hoosiers in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Bogle Park at 6:30 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Indiana Hoosiers in the tournament.

The Oklahoma State Cowgirls’ next game will take place on Sunday, May 18 at 4:05 p.m. at Bogle Park.
