On May 13, 2025, Rep. Miller-Meeks expressed her honor at speaking during a ceremony at St. Ambrose University recognizing military-connected graduates. She emphasized the personal significance of this event given her own background as a "24-year Army veteran." Later that day, she noted an economic update: "Inflation is down to 2.3%—the lowest since 2021!"
