Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D., currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 1st district, has been active on social media, sharing her thoughts on various occasions and developments. On May 11, 2025, she expressed her heartfelt sentiments for Mother's Day.

On May 11, 2025, Rep. Miller-Meeks shared a personal message celebrating Mother's Day. She extended her wishes to mothers across Iowa and beyond, stating "Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms across Iowa and beyond. Being “Mom” to Jonathon and Taylor is the greatest blessing of my life. Although we look a little different now, there’s truly no better place to raise a family than right here in Iowa!"

The following day, on May 12, 2025, she acknowledged National Police Week by expressing her support for law enforcement officers. She posted "This National Police Week, I’m proud to stand with the brave men and women who keep our communities safe. I’ll always Back the Blue and fight for those who protect and serve."

Later that same day, Rep. Miller-Meeks highlighted an educational development in Iowa through another tweet about the North Scott Community Regional Innovation Center. She remarked on its potential impact by stating "The new North Scott Community Regional Innovation Center is a game changer for Iowa. By giving students hands-on training and connecting education with real career paths, it will strengthen our workforce and set a powerful example that communities across the country will."

Mariannette Miller-Meeks has been serving in Congress since replacing Dave Loebsack in 2021 after previously holding a seat in the Iowa Senate from 2019 to 2021.
