Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D., currently serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Iowa’s 1st district, recently shared a series of thoughts and updates on key national issues. "It's time to embrace American energy dominance and create high paying jobs." she expressed on April 24, 2025. In her latest op-ed for The Hill, she advocates for unleashing all forms of energy to secure America's future.

On the same day, "Reauthorizing @POTUS’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is critical for every Iowan." Miller-Meeks emphasized. Shared at 15:38:46 UTC, she highlighted the importance of extending these tax cuts for working moms, families, farmers, and small businesses who might face substantial tax increases if Congress fails to act.

In another tweet from April 24, she highlighted the remembrance of Yom HaShoah, sharing, "On Yom HaShoah, we remember the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust." Through this statement, she underscored standing with survivors and reaffirmed the commitment to never forget.

Mariannette Miller-Meeks, a graduate of Texas Christian University with a BSN, has served as the Congress representative for Iowa's 1st District since 2021, after replacing Dave Loebsack. She previously was a member of the Iowa Senate from 2019 to 2021.
