Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D., a U.S. Congress member representing Iowa’s 1st district, shared several updates on her official Twitter account. The tweets addressed various topics ranging from veteran affairs to energy policy and severe weather awareness.

On March 22, Rep. Miller-Meeks tweeted about her participation in the Lee County Veteran’s Coffee and Conversation event. She emphasized discussions on healthcare access, mental health support, and prioritizing veterans' needs: "Had a great time at the Lee County Veteran’s Coffee and Conversation. We discussed key issues like healthcare access, mental health support, and the ongoing need to prioritize veterans' needs. On March 24, she highlighted Severe Weather Awareness Week in Iowa with a focus on lightning safety: "It's Severe Weather Awareness Week in Iowa! Day 1 is all about lightning safety. Stay safe and prepared by following these tips: ️ Stay indoors during a lightning storm. If caught outside, get into a car or shelter. Avoid using electrical appliances and wired devices.".

Later that day, Rep. Miller-Meeks commented on U.S. energy policy under the Biden Administration: "The Biden Administration’s war on American energy forced our allies to rely on dirty Russian and Venezuelan oil, despite U.S. energy being at least 40% cleaner. With @POTUS now unleashing American energy, there's no reason for our allies to buy anything but American!".
