Miller-Meeks thanks Biden and Waltz for securing Marc Fogel's release

Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D., currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 1st district, shared a series of tweets highlighting recent developments and engagements. Miller-Meeks has been active in politics since 2021, following her service in the Iowa Senate from 2019 to 2021.

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Miller-Meeks expressed gratitude towards President Biden and Congressman Mike Waltz for their efforts in securing the release of Marc Fogel. She stated, "Another win for America. Thank you @POTUS @MikeWaltz47 and team for bringing home Marc Fogel ".

Later that day, she addressed an audience of over 200 physicians at the American Medical Association (AMA). She emphasized her commitment to reversing cuts affecting physicians and maintaining healthcare system stability. Her message read: "It was an honor to speak with over 200 physicians at the @AmerMedicalAssn! I’m proud to lead efforts to reverse harmful physician cuts and protect the stability of our healthcare system for both providers and patients."

On February 12, Rep. Miller-Meeks once again acknowledged President Biden and Congressman Waltz's achievements with a succinct tweet: "Great job @POTUS @MikeWaltz47 ".
