Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, M.D., currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 1st district, shared updates on her recent activities and legislative efforts through a series of tweets.

On February 10, 2025, Rep. Miller-Meeks highlighted a productive meeting with representatives from Southeastern Community College to discuss the growth of community colleges within her district and new educational programs available to students. Later that day, she commented on governmental accountability measures, expressing criticism towards individuals opposing President Biden's efforts to reduce waste while pointing out their past support for hiring additional IRS agents. "The same people who are furious about @POTUS working to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in our government are the same ones who had no problem hiring 87,000 IRS agents to monitor your every transaction."

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Miller-Meeks announced the introduction of the Diagnostic Testing Preparedness Plan Act alongside Representatives Kim Schrier, Dan Crenshaw, and Andre Carson. This bill aims to enhance the country's capacity for diagnostic testing in preparation for future public health emergencies.
