Iowa midterms sees Marion County Republican Central Committee in Marion County spend the most during Q1

Marion County Republican Central Committee spent the most out of in Marion County political committees during the first quarter of 2024, according to the Iowa.gov.

It spent $3,018 on nine vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was to Republican Party of Iowa, which is based in ZIP Code 50309.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in a city within Marion County during the first quarter of 2024 came from Marion County Democratic Central Committee. It spent $1,009 during the time period on seven different vendors.

More than $22 million was raised for the Iowa Senate race in 2022. This was split fairly evenly between the Republican and Democrat parties.
