Pella Regional Health Center recently issued the following announcement.
Pella Regional Health Center has named George Papineau, Pharm.D, RPh, to the role of Director of Pharmacy. This position is responsible for providing leadership to the hospital pharmacy department including planning, directing, and monitoring all financial, operational, professional, regulatory and clinical activities.
Papineau was most recently employed at Montrose Memorial Hospital in Montrose, Colorado, as Director of Pharmacy. Prior to that role, he was the Director of Pharmacy at Grinnell Regional Medical Center in Grinnell, Iowa.
Papineau received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska. He has a passion for rural health care.
