Madison County Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on October 14.
Bomgaars will be hosting Ladies’ Night on Sunday, October 24, between 5 – 8 p.m. This night of festive shopping will feature gift card giveaways, refreshments and 20% off regular priced merchandise. Five percent of the night’s proceeds will be donated to Madison County Health Care System for preventative cancer screenings, equipment or other needs related to oncology.
This is the sixth year Bomgaars has held Ladies’ Night where 5% of the total sales are donated to community hospitals or cancer centers in communities they serve. Last year, Bomgaars donated over $65,000 to 94 locations. The first year Bomgaars hosted this event, $18,000 in donations was made to 21 organizations. The event has grown tremendously!
In Winterset, Bomgaars has chosen Madison County Health Care System to receive the donation. Marcia Hendricks, CEO of Madison County Health Care System said, “Thank you to the Bomgaars corporation and our local Bomgaars store in Winterset for creating awareness of cancer by hosting this festive shopping event for a cause. Thank you for choosing our organization as the recipient of these funds for Madison County cancer patients.”
