EveryStep Among Iowa's Top Workplaces

Top

HCI Hospice Care Services issued the following announcement on September 12.

EveryStep is one of Iowa’s best employers, according to the Des Moines Register’s 2021 Top Workplaces awards. In the mid-sized employer category, EveryStep ranked 21st among the top 50. This is the ninth time EveryStep has been listed as a top workplace in the annual awards.

The non-profit organization earned the designation thanks to accolades from EveryStep employees responding to a third-party survey.

“EveryStep is once again honored to receive a Top Workplace designation,” said Tray Wade, president and CEO of EveryStep. “Our nearly 400 employees and hundreds of volunteers work tirelessly to ensure our patients and clients receive the best care possible. This honor is a direct reflection of our employees, who truly make our organization what it is.”

EveryStep has been offering non-profit care and support for Iowans since 1908. Today, EveryStep offers at least one of its 30-plus programs in each of Iowa’s 99 counties. When Iowans face life’s most difficult moments, EveryStep provides support and empowerment in the right place and at the right time. Staff and programs provide support and education to young moms; assistance to immigrants and refugees; wellness services to workplaces and communities; in-home care to people who are ill, injured or facing the end of life; and compassionate support to families during times of grief and loss.
