Census Bureau: More women than men in Melcher-Dallas city in 2019

Of the 1,160 people living in Melcher-Dallas city in 2019, 53.6 percent (622) were women and 46.4 percent (538) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South DSM News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 350-to-277. In the 65 and over age range, there were 144 females and 118 males.
