Pella Regional Health Center issued the following announcement on Sept. 8.
Pella Regional Health Center’s Specialty Pharmacy is proud to receive accreditation from the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC). Pella Regional’s Specialty Pharmacy is the first Critical Access Hospital owned pharmacy to have achieved this accreditation.
“I have appreciated the process that URAC has put us through,” explains Mindi Chamberlain, directory of Pella Regional’s Specialty Pharmacy. “I feel we are now equipped with what we need to run a high quality Specialty Pharmacy program. I am excited to see this program grow and flourish.”
