City of Indianola issued the following announcement on Sept. 14.
Public Works staff will be installing additional warning signs on all the recreational trail crossings. There will be a total of 32 new advance warning signs on eight different trail crossings in Indianola.
Please note that the law stipulates all motorists must yield to pedestrians. The law also stipulates that all bicyclists must yield to traffic, because a bicyclist is treated in the same manner as a motorist.
