Pella Regional Health Center issued the following announcement on Aug. 17.
Amy Meyer, Laboratory, was selected as Pella Regional Health Center’s July Shining Star for her high performance standards.
Meyer, resident of Otley, was nominated based on commitment.
Excerpts from her nominations:
“Amy truly deserves the Shining Star Award for her tireless work supporting COVID-19 testing. The behind the scenes work Amy has done to coordinate multiple reference labs, ever changing state mandates, supply challenges, shifting requirements, couriers and more is almost unfathomable. Amy has met these challenges with determination while maintaining a positive attitude and a sense of calm all while ensuring safety and quality. Amy consistently lives the mission of Pella Regional and overall exhibits the values and traits of an outstanding leader.”
