Grow Solar Warren County is providing home and business owners with educational seminars on solar power through mid September.

“Our free information session teaches you the basics of solar, its financial implications for your property, and how the Grow Solar Warren County program works,” the Grow Solar website states. “Then, get a free, no obligation site assessment from our competitively-selected installer.”

The sessions, known as Solar Power Hours, will take place on Zoom. Those interested in attending a session must register. Upon receiving an onsite assessment, individuals will have until Sept. 30 to determine if they want to purchase solar with the Grow Solar program.

The Solar Power Hours are part of Grow Solar Warren County’s initiative to help make solar installations more affordable.

Grow Solar Warren County is a collaboration between The Nature Conservancy in Iowa, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, the Warren County Economic Development Corporation, and the cities of Carlisle and Indianola.
