Pella Regional Health Center issued the following announcement on Jun. 1.
Wes Boyd, Materials Management, was selected as the April Shining Star by co-workers at Pella RegionalHealth Center.
Boyd, resident of Otley, was nominated based on Attitude, Appearance, Commitment, Communication, Etiquette, Privacy Responsibilities, Safety, and Sense of Ownership.
Excerpts from his nomination:
“Wes has gone above and beyond with ensuring Pella Regional is stocked with necessary supplies, not only during this COVID-19 crisis, but throughout the year as well. He has been proactive with getting the storeroom stocked in preparation for COVID-19. His calm nature, easy going personality, and daily communication to his staff are appreciated. He remains professional, polite, and courteous to everyone he encounters. We appreciate all you do for us, Wes!”
Boyd will receive a $100 gift, a plaque, and will automatically be included in the nominations for Shining Star of the Year award.
