CITY OF INDIANOLA: Governor Reynolds Emergency Proclamation

City of Indianola issued the following announcement on Mar. 17. 

On March 17th Governor Kim Reynolds issued an emergency proclamation.  In the proclamation, the Governor has ordered the closing of various businesses and mass gatherings.  A copy of the proclamation is accessible via the provided link.  In accordance with State Code, the City’s Police Department is responsible to enforce the requirements of the proclamation.  The community’s continued patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.  Residents are reminded and encouraged to follow the recommended safety guidelines, including social distancing as established by the CDC.  The City continues to monitor these events and has developed appropriate plans to ensure the safety of our community and staff.  Please continue to refer to the City’s social media outlets and COVID-19 webpage for updated information and recommended safety guidelines.
