City of Indianola issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
By April 1, 2020, every home will receive an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census. Did you know that the Census determines the level of funding local governments receive to provide services to their communities? You will have three options for responding: online, by phone, or by mail. Watch this new Public Service Announcement (PSA) by the U.S. Census Bureau to learn more about the different ways to respond to the 2020 Census. Please be aware of this important process and please participate.
You can still take in this massive operation by applying for a 2020 Census job. Apply, and with one application you may be considered for several positions, including census taker, recruiting assistant, office clerk, and supervisory staff—and help your community while getting paid.
