Pella Regional Health Center issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.
Jennifer Pollock, Health Information Management, was Jennifer Pollock Sept. Shining Star Photoselected as September Shining Star by co-workers at Pella Regional Health Center.
Pollock, resident of Lovilia, was nominated based on Attitude, Appearance, Commitment, Communication, Etiquette, Privacy Responsibilities, and Sense of Ownership.
Excerpts from her nomination:
“Jennifer does an amazing job of helping others in her department. She is always available to answer a question or find the answer. Her quality of work is exemplary and always has a positive attitude. We are lucky to have her as part of our team at Pella Regional!”
Shining Star is a reward and recognition program at Pella Regional designed to acknowledge an employee each month that demonstrates outstanding standards of behavior and inspires others to do their best.
Pollock will receive a $100 gift, a plaque, and will automatically be included in the Shining Star of the Year award.
