Pella Regional Health Center recently issued the following announcement.

Pella Regional Health Center has once again been recognized as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by the Chartis Center for Rural Health. Compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, this annual recognition program honors outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX™.

“We are honored to receive this award from Chartis,” said Bob Kroese, Chief Executive Officer at Pella Regional. “Being named one of the top 100 is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our providers and staff. Our team works diligently, living out our mission to provide high quality care with Christian compassion for all our patients. I’m proud of all their efforts and the acknowledgement they’ve received.”

Over the course of the last 12 years, the INDEX has established itself as the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance. Leveraging publicly available data, the INDEX is trusted by rural hospitals, health systems with rural footprints, hospital associations and state offices of rural health across the country to measure and monitor performance across a variety of areas impacting hospital operations and finance.
