Pella Regional Health Center recently issued the following announcement.

Pella Regional Health Center recently installed a new digital X-ray stem that helps transform care delivery and deliver consistent outcomes and a more confident diagnosis for patients.

The new system features a user-assisting intelligence (AI) tool that combines patient data and observed information to find the best positioning and other parameters for each patient and exam. The AI helps technologists perform exams that deliver consistent and high-quality images for the radiologist to interpret. An additional benefit to the patients is the low dose used to capture the high-quality images.

â€śOur goal is to provide our staff with ease of operation, our radiologists with high-quality and consistent images and our patients with our commitment to the best health care possible,” said Kathy Curiel, Director Medical Imaging. “This new digital X-ray system is an important tool helping us to achieve our goal.”
