City of Indianola recently issued the following announcement.

The December 2021 Building Permit Report has been issued by the Community Development Department, which is the last report supplied in 2021. In 2021, the City issued a total 

of 202 permits valued at a total of $36.2 Million. For comparison, in 2020, the City issued 200 permits valued at a total of $25.1 Million. The increase in valuation seen in 2021 from 

2020 was helped by an additional $5.5 Million in multi-family construction, an additional $1.4 Million in single-family construction, and an additional $3.8 Million in
